Herbal Supplements

Another popular detox strategy is to use special herbal preparations. These can be in capsule, tablet, liquid or powder forms. However, some of the more popular products are powder because they contain fiber as well. Different products suit different people. So, if you don’t like one, don’t be afraid to try another.

Colon Hydrotherapy

Colon hydrotherapy is also a popular treatment. It involves going to a clinic that specializes in it. A therapist literally washes your colon out with warm water. One advantage of this approach is that you get rid of a lot of waste quickly. However, most people still need a few treatments to completely clean their colons. A disadvantage is that the water washes away good bacteria from the colon. You can replace these by taking lacto-bacillus capsules. Another disadvantage of this method is that it can’t be done at home. The process can also be embarrassing for many people.

Whichever detox method you choose, colon cleansing should be a priority. Once you have a clean colon and are eating a healthy, high fiber diet, you only need to detox once or twice a year. Your mind, body and emotions will be released from a heavy burden. Don’t be surprised if your life becomes a lot better as a result!
